Ever fancied having a go on the potter’s wheel — shaping spinning clay with your own hands and a touch of Christmas magic?
Join our Festive Pottery Wheel Experience and learn the art of throwing with a merry twist! Sip on mulled wine or orange juice, enjoy festively coloured clay, and get into the creative spirit as you make your very own pottery pieces.
You’ll join a small group of up to six budding potters, guided by an experienced teacher who’ll help you bring your creations to life. Expect laughter, a bit of mess, and a lot of satisfaction as you shape your pots from start to finish.
Once you’ve thrown your masterpieces, the Guildford Pottery elves will take over — firing and glazing your pots, ready for collection about four weeks later.
Come spin some clay, raise a glass, and make this Christmas one to remember!

Firstly, thank you so much you choosing to join us at the start of your pottery journey! We're a completely new studio, so your support really is appreciated. Please wear clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting dirty. Long hair needs to be tied back. Nails should be cut short. Leave any expensive jewellery, bracelets necklaces, rings and watches at home.
